Heidi is intuitive, analytical, and direct — the kind of person who sits with a problem until she's found the root of it. Colleagues nicknamed her "Hawkeye" for it. As a senior product manager, that instinct helped her guide 3,500 engineers in building a premium diagnostic ultrasound system. She brings the same eye to functional medicine, digging past symptoms to find what's actually driving her clients' poor health.
In 2024 she completed the Clinical Mastership program with Dr. Datis Kharrazian at the Kharrazian Institute of Functional Medicine — six years of graduate-level study, and the most rigorous training in the field anywhere in the world. It's the foundation everything else she does is built on. She's also a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach through the Kharrazian Institute (CFMHC), a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Kalish Institute (CFMP), a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), and Microbiome Clinical Science Certified (MCSC). She's been in practice since 2013.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and is a registered sonographer across the diagnostic ultrasound registries: ARDMS (OB/GYN and abdominal), RDCS (cardiac), and RVT (vascular). That medical background — plus her own story of imbalance — made the move into functional medicine a natural one. She trained under Dr. Dan Kalish at the Kalish Institute in 2013 and 2014, earning her FNTP through the Nutritional Therapy Association the same year.
When she's not deep in a problem, she's with her dog Freyja or training for kettlebell sport. Heidi is a gold medalist and a member of the U.S. Kettlebell Team, competing nationally and internationally.
